Louisville, Kentucky is my home town, and this is my home page. Since it it is my home page, it reflects my personal interests.
This means that this site has NO focus whatsoever. As you see, it seems a pastiche of incongruous parts.
If you're curious about the photo to the right, that thing across my face that looks like a cat tail is a cat's tail. The rest of the cat is draped over my shoulder.
River Cities
The Falls of the Ohio River was an inevitable place for settlement as Europeans moved west through the wilderness and used the river for easy transportation. That is the practical, rational, and historical explanation for the existence of Louisville, but it is not the complete explanation. For that, one must explore the shadowy realm of mythology and deception . . . .
Open Source Web Design
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) have made Open Source web design possible. With CSS most, if not all, layout and design elements can be separated from content. This makes it much easier to share designs with part-time web builders, and it will work to improve the overall appearance of the Web. I support Open Source, and recommend it.
